Yesterday I saw the film Suite Francaise  which reminded me of a long hot summer spent in France many years ago. Had to go home and paint this Monet inspired meadow.

CHARING CROSS BRIDGE.LONDON

London is getting busy with tourists as spring approaches.The bridges of London offer wonderful views. Charing Cross Bridge is for trains but an additional bridge called Hungerford Bridge has now been built alongside for pedestrians.

Activity on the garden wall has a new interest with the arrival of a scruffy old grey cat. The locals are not keen.

There was snow this morning, the first for 2 years.
